Production Data

Production data is filed with the Texas Railroad Commission, or RRC, monthly. You may follow these steps in order to find data for wells in which you own a royalty interest.

First, see Currently Producing Wells page to verify ID number for the well. If RRC Lease ID exists, use this number.  If the RRC Lease ID column is blank, use the Permit Number listed to the left of the RRC Lease ID.

Production by Lease:

1) If a RRC Lease ID exists in Currently Producing Wells page

• Lease Type: Gas Well
• District: 03
• RRC Identifier: RRC Lease ID from Currently Producing Wells page
• Prod Month Range: choose the months you want to see. (Note: Keep in mind that it may take up to 3 months for production to be posted to the RRC website.)

2) If NO RRC Lease ID exists in Currently Producing Wells page

• Lease Type: Pending
• District: 03
• RRC Identifier: Permit Number from Currently Producing Wells page
• Prod Month Range: choose the months you want to see. (Note: Keep in mind that it may take up to 3 months for production to be posted to the RRC website.)
